Martin Hampshire

Project Manager (Midlands Region)

Martin is an expert in lifting systems, particularly industrial lift assistors and parts manipulators. He is experienced in mechanical and pneumatics design/manufacture and has worked for both OEMs, such as Jaguar Land Rover, and has worked with tier-one engineering suppliers before his employment with Carney UK. Martin’s experience in lift assistors and lifting equipment has helped Carney UK to develop a product line in pneumatic-powered lifting equipment where we have brought our experience in robotics end-of-arm tooling/end effectors to produce a range of parts-handling products for use both inside and outside the car industry.

Project Manager (Southern Region)

David is an enthusiastic Six Sigma Green-Belt-trained engineer with a passion for solving the technical problem, while implementing a friendly and professional customer-focused approach. David has extensive experience in many areas of mechanical design/manufacture, pneumatics and various control systems and previously worked in engine assembly for Ford Motor Company as a test engineer, presenting him with the opportunity to create a specification and implement the new engine testing facilities at Dagenham and Bridgend for both production and non-production test lab facilities.

Design

Our Design Team uses 3D CAD software, such as CATIA, SolidWorks and Autodesk products, to produce your concept in the virtual environment. The CAD software has many benefits, including giving us the ability to plan the manufactured products to help us manufacture our equipment correct first time and allows us to build around your product parts CAD, where required.
